Sound electrical design is fundamental for the safe, reliable and affordable production and consumption of electric power, wholesale and retail. It is also conducive to efficient and environmentally-sensitive electrical energy.

From power systems analysis through the conceptual design of High Voltage transmission and distribution facilities, Enerconsult works with Owners to develop the system interconnection requirements in accordance with utility’s practices and system operating standards. Enerconsult will perform system studies including load flow, short-circuit, transient stability, protective device coordination, harmonic analyses and ground grid designs. These studies will permit to analyze the impact of new or upgrading options on the overall system, before starting detailed engineering and procurement tasks. Enerconsult then will proceed to prepare technical specifications, review the manufacturer’s proposals and issue recommendations for equipment selection.

Enerconsult offers electrical engineering services for industrial, institutional, commercial and residential facilities. These Medium and Low Voltage responsibilities include system studies, power distribution networks, Emergency Power Supply Systems  (see On-Site Generation), and lighting, security, fire protection and automation systems (see Enhanced Building Automation) for plants and buildings. Calculations and computer simulations will be undertaken for Medium and Low Voltage distribution circuits, service entrance sizing, switchgear and circuit breaker panels, protective relaying coordination, motor control centers and VFDs, Uninterruptible Power Supplies and automatic transfer switches.

Enerconsult can provide Independent Reviews of third party’s designs, construction inspections, as well as witnessing major equipment’s factory tests. For comparing open access and deregulated alternatives, Enerconsult will perform economical evaluations and Feasibility Studies of new or expanded substations, networks and control equipment.
