In that capacity,  Enerconsult  will act as a client’s representative in the purchasing of electricity and gas, provides energy conservation advice   and client support in all aspects of a client’s energy supply. We work exclusively for our clients and not for electricity suppliers. So, we will obtain the lowest prices for electricity and gas available in the competitive marketplace and on contract terms that are favorable to our clients. Enerconsult will negotiate contracts only with electricity and gas suppliers that are reliable and that have the financial and technical resources to support their supply obligations. Enerconsult will assist its customers in understanding and operating in the new competitive market for electricity to make sure that the services they obtain meet their goals and objectives. For instance, institutional and commercial clients that are fully committed to use  green power will be aimed at purchasing electricity that is 100% renewable, and 100% emission free.

In typical assignments, Enerconsult’s undertakings will encompass some or all the following actions:

• Commencing The Investigation

During this part of the audit process, the Enerconsult obtains from the electric and gas utilities all the information unavailable on the Client’s historic details. At this stage also, Enerconsult will discover information about the Client’s facilities as needed. Enerconsult will course “Letters of Agency” to the utilities which allow receiving information directly from the utilities with minimal effort from the Client. .Enerconsult will also research current regulatory programs and former regulatory precedents to look for additional opportunities that the Client could utilize to obtain further benefits. •  Performing the Analysis – Develop Economic Calculations, Business Plans or Feasibility Studies

Enerconsult will review historic documents (from the 2 latest years)  in relation to the correct the applicability of tariffs for possible misclassification by the utilities. All overcharges will be identified to develop claims for refunds for the full length of term that the overcharge may have occurred. Enerconsult will then submit to the Client an Opening Report containing Economic Calculations, Business Plans or Feasibility Studies as required. This document will detail all opportunities for cost reduction and identify any causes for refunds along with estimated values. Enerconsult will specifically spell out an action plan and draft any utility letters for the Client's letterhead and signature. Recommendations to perform more efficiently and to eliminate future losses will be included in the report.

• Continuous Monitoring of Electric and Gas Bills

Upon presentation of the monthly electric and gas bills, Enerconsult will also recalculate those parts of the billing that is suspect for correct charges and accuracy. This task includes incorrect meter reads, incorrect demand charges, misapplied discounts and allowances, unapplied credits, power factor adjustments, and associated taxes. All meters readings of electric active energy and demand and gas supplies will be reviewed) for data accuracy. With relation to reactive energy or load factor rates or surcharges, an analysis will be performed to determine if the invoice is within tolerance levels. Enerconsult will pursue all identified refunds preparing, filing and providing all necessary assistance on behalf of the Client, including but not limited to the preparation and submission of claims to the utility companies, and formal assistance as necessary or advisable for the client to pursue refund claims to regulatory bodies.

•       Consulting on Electricity and Gas Economics

The electric and gas markets are extremely dynamic. Electric and gas Utilities are constantly filing new tariffs and special programs while closing others. Authorities Having Jurisdiction are besieged with filings and complaints and make rulings that affect large classes of customers. It will be Enerconsult’ task to keep abreast of all of these changes so that we can advise the Client accordingly. With Client’s concurrence, Enerconsult will proceed to file complaints against the utility before the regulator for any unresolved issue. Enerconsult will focus on lowering the total cost our clients pay for electricity and gas by developing Energy Conservation, Demand-Side Management and On-Site Generation options. Enerconsult will advocate on behalf of its clients in proceedings before governmental and regulatory entities to ensure that clients' interests are represented and decisions result in reducing the costs of electricity and gas.
